Letters, by hand

Two things leave this desk: a letter in my hand, and a book I chose with a letter about why. Once, or every month.

Written by hand by Suki Song, the writer behind The Last Romantic.

A handwritten letter

Posted anywhere in the world

Tell me who it is for and what it needs to carry: a birthday, an apology, a thank-you, a beginning, an ending, or nothing in particular. It may come as a letter, a poem, my own musings, or a page from my journal. I write it by hand, seal it, and walk it to the post. Every one is different, and none is kept.

A mystery book and a letter

Posted anywhere in the US

A book I chose for them, wrapped so the title stays a secret until it is opened, and a letter in my hand about why I chose it. Tell me a few books they have loved and I will find the next one. Every month, if you like: a new book and a new letter in the first week of the month, for as long as you want them.

how it works
01

Say who it is for

Checkout has a box for who it is for, one for what to know: what the letter should carry, or a few books they have loved, and one for special requests, like who it is from and how to sign it. Leave them empty and it comes to you.

02

I write it

By hand, at my desk. For a book, I read what they have loved, choose the next one, and wrap it with the letter. A single order is in the post within two weeks. Monthly orders go out together in the first week of every month.

03

It goes in the post

Letters go anywhere in the world, books anywhere in the US. Postage is in the price.

04

If it goes missing

Post is post. If yours has not arrived six weeks after I sent it, reply to your receipt and I will write it again.

Monthly orders renew until you stop them. Cancel, or change the address or card any time: Stripe emails a sign-in link to the address you paid with.
